Sir,
With
due honour and humble submission we, the students of your college, beg most
respectfully to state that we want to start an English
Debating Club in our college campus. Our college is a reputed college where about 1200
students are studying. But there is no debating club in our
college. It is a matter of great sorrow. Most of the students come to college
from distant places. They have to stay longer in the college campus. It is
difficult for them to pass this long period without practising
debate in debating club. Sometimes they go to road side debating club to practise debating. Now, we are in a great
problem for want of a debating club. So, we keenly
feel the necessity of opening a debating club in the college
campus.
In the above circumstances, we pray and
hope that you would be kind enough to grant our payer and oblige thereby.
